Gabrielle McNutt, “Gabby” to her friends, graduated in 2015 from Harmony Science Academy High School of Houston. These days she’s studying Marketing at Howard University in Washington D.C. Her passion is people and building relationships. Originally, Gabby had planned to pursue Communications, but she decided she’d have more opportunities to make a difference in Marketing. After graduation, she wants to work with a reputable company, preferably one involved in education. She also looks forward to starting a family in a few years.

Gabby had a great experience at Harmony when she was in high school and is excited to have this opportunity to help other students find a school that’s a good fit for them. She’s also finding that, as she listens to the stories of others, she is gaining a better understand of and appreciation for her own path to where she is now. She’s also using this opportunity as a call center intern to improve her communication skills and become more comfortable talking to people. Gabby is fairly introverted, but she is enjoying learning to network and better express herself to others.

Gabrielle credits much of her success in life to the hard work of her mother, who attended college, worked, and took care of her alone when Gabby was a child.
