Justino Mares was looking for a school in Austin to meet the needs of his daughter, Anabel, as she transitioned from elementary school to middle school. He was happy with her elementary education but wanted to ensure that she would continue to flourish as she grew.
Often mature beyond her years, and facing some struggles in math, it was important that Anabel get the attention she needed to achieve her dream of becoming a doctor. Anabel is now a proud student at IDEA, and Justino loves the school because his daughter is able to get the support she needs to excel.
“I discovered IDEA after Families Empowered gave me information for a few different schools in my area,” Justino said. “Because of Families Empowered I discovered the school my daughter attends now. I believe that parents need this kind of help because it allows us to focus on our individual goals for our children.”
Justino hopes that Anabel will be able to make her dreams a reality – whether she holds tight to her goal of studying medicine or chooses another path, he’s confident that her education will help her to succeed.
